It created a "depersonalization disorder" where I felt disconnected from everything. It's amazing how something as basic as switching from offline uploading to live content creation can open your heart, mind, and soul to a fantastic daily adventure! In the space of a year I tripled my subscriber base and my channel is growing at a nice pace. The interaction with my subscribers has made a world of difference as I now consider them as my extended family / friends and we all work together as a team of sorts, baiting technical support scammers, SSA scammers, refund, gift card, and even airline scammers. What saved me and my channel (Modder Paul ScamBaits) is my decision to do all of my scambaiting LIVE with an audience. Over the course of my first year, I encountered a bad form of burnout that hit me especially hard: I live alone, so spending all of your time on the phone with scammers can really drag you down / distort your view of the world. I would record everything, then upload the best content to YouTube. Four years ago I committed myself to calling up technical support scammers and baiting them for hours. ![]() I love playing multiplayer, competitive, rpg/horrors, also Vrchat and open to anything <3 please keep on fighting, I am fighting with you and for you! I hope we can all be friends here, since we share the same situations. I think it also hurts that I follow my friends, but none of them follow me back :c maybe I'm being selfish? I just wanna build a community ya know. ![]() I hope maybe I can get better, but it feels so discouraging. I also really wish I could do this for a living, but it's horribly competitive, and I always only have 1-3 viewers, but they leave within a few mins. Whenever I try to set up stream I get lost, I feel unprofessional. People will tell me otherwise with the way I look, but that took years of learning makeup, but that didn't help what hurts on the inside. I have no confidence, and believe me I've been trying for years. Yes I'm super introverted, to the point that I'm trying to find any means that involves outside to find ways that I can just do it at home, like exercise, work, groceries etc. Still answering everyone!
